Y hosts a free community walk on Sunday September 19th at 11 am at the fairgrounds in Augusta.  This event, Walkabout Sussex County, is co-hosted with the Sussex County Department of Environmental and Public Health Services. It's open to all individuals and families and is the kickoff to a five week challenge.  Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. with a warm-up beginning at 10:50 am.  Pre-registration is recommended but not required.  Please click here for the registration form . 

All participants will receive a free gift bag of products from the event's sponsors and the first 200 registered will receive a free t-shirt and pedometer.  Professionals will be on-hand for free health screenings and Y's wellness staff will be available to answer questions for all ages. Limited spaces are still available for organizations to provide health related education, products or services.
